MY FATHER’S DAUGHTER

Written and Performed by Ursula Rucker, Former recording artist with The Roots
Featuring the music of Tim Motzer

Inspired by her mother’s life, My Father’s Daughter is written and performed by the dynamic, truth-telling, spoken word poet and recording artist Ursula Rucker. The show tells the story of both mother and daughter, Ursula says. “Her life informs mine and still does; her wild, crazy life, most people would not survive. I survived it with her, dealt with a lot of pain, and had to navigate through my life with that history.”

A story of survival, forgiveness and healing told through poetry and song, My Father’s Daughter, raw and rifting, will leave you laughing and crying all at the same time
